The proventis GmbH company was founded in 2001 in Berlin as a software and consulting company. Twenty five employees work on developing effective and simple solutions in the field of project management.

The core competence of proventis is the permanent enhancement of the web-based project management software Blue Ant, proventis has been successfully marketed for about eight years. proventis and its partner companies assist the implementation of Blue Ant, as well as develop project management practices.

Blue Ant is a 100% web-based and process oriented multi-project management software. Beside its functions for project planning and controlling, Blue Ant software integrates knowledge and document management, as well as various approval and communication processes. All project participants are engaged in the project work by the software. This increases transparency, improves communication and therefore makes project work successful for all participants. Blue Ant creates an information platform on which project leaders and collaborators, as well as the management board, can move freely.

The proventis GmbH thus counts itself among the 50 most quickly growing technology companies in Germany in 2007. With the »Technology Fast 50 Award«, Deloitte identifies ambitious technology companies for their business performance. Criteria such as competitive advantage, management and business culture, as well as financial performance indicators are taken into consideration. The decisive rating criterion is the average percent of net profit growth in the past five fiscal years. Moreover, the net profit relief must generate a significant part of self-developed technology and a considerable amount should be invested in research and development.

proventis sees its future challenges in expanding its sales activities onto the European markets. Technical requirements are already fulfilled. Blue Ant software is completely multilingual and at present is available in German, English, Dutch and Polish.
