Berlin/Frankfurt, October 18, 2007

The proventis GmbH, maker of the web-based project management software Blue Ant, is one of the 50 most quickly growing enterprises in Germany.

At the award ceremony in the Palais am Zoo in Frankfurt am Main on October 10, 2007, proventis GmbH of Berlin was one of the recipients of the Technology Fast 50 Award.
The proventis GmbH thus counts itself among the 50 most quickly growing technology companies in Germany. The Fast 50 Award, sponsored by Deloitte, has as its focus top business performance and it honors companies and business personalities who combine initiative, innovation and readiness to assume a risk with a technical professionalism.

»Receiving the Fast 50 Award makes me especially happy. It shows that start-up companies without outside capital and large investments, through diligence, effort and perseverance, can grow and make a name for themselves. Within just six years, proventis has grown from six to 21 employees,« reports Norman Frischmuth, executive director of proventis GmbH, about the distinction.

With the "Technology Fast 50 Award", Deloitte identifies ambitious technology companies for their business performance. Criteria such as competitive advantage, management and business culture, as well as financial performance indicators are taken into consideration. The decisive rating criterion is the average percent of net profit growth in the past five fiscal years. Moreover, the net profit relief must generate a significant part of self-developed technology and a considerable amount should be invested in research and development.

The winners of the Technology Fast 50 in Germany automatically qualify for the international Technology 500 Program, where Deloitte awards the 500 most quickly growing companies in Europe.

About the Fast 50 Award

The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Program first began in the USA in 1995. In the meantime, eleven countries in the Deloitte network received the prize. Germany has awarded the Technology Fast 50 Award for the last four years. Next to this national commendation is the regional Technology Fast 500 Program for North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. The next European Fast 500 Award will be presented on November 27 in Paris. The distinction has been established as a worldwide seal of quality for entrepreneurial success in the technology industry.
