Web-based multi-project management: Experience Blue Ant at the CeBIT 2008

Berlin, February 12th, 2008

Armed with a series of new features, the Web-based Multi-Project Management software Blue Ant will be attending the CeBIT 2008, in Hall 2, Booth B50. Blue Ant is proud to present its new partners from Austria and the Netherlands.
»We view the CeBIT 2008 as a positive experience for Blue Ant. With an increase of more than 50% in the numbers of licences sold in the last 12 months, it is clear that the Blue Ant software is on the right tract. This year, for the first time, Blue Ant has been joined by partners from Austria and the Netherlands. During the CeBIT 2008, we will introduce the new features of the IT-integrated project management software under the motto: Projects and project management processes. Along with two other technology partners, we will present a live detailed example of how the Blue Ant software can be integrated into a new company«, reports Norman Frischmuth, managing director of the Berlin company proventis, about his company’s participation in CeBIT 2008.
The new version of the Blue Ant software, Blue Ant 5.2, includes important new adjustments and functions, such as a toolbar, the possibility of integrating a baseline, as well as the new “5 minute project” function. »The newly integrated toolbar, which includes illustrated keys, makes it easier to navigate the Blue Ant software. The toolbar enables the user to get faster access to frequently used functions«, explains Holger Eckert, the product manager for the 5.2 version of Blue Ant. With this new version of the software, there is also the possibility of creating a baseline in Blue Ant. The baseline function allows the software to save the original project plan, so that progress and cost developments are not affected by any adaptation made to the original project plan. The “5-minute project” function makes it possible to design intricate projects with the help of a template project assistant in a short amount of time. The filling of documents and projects, as well as the scheduling of resources is therefore greatly accelerated.
The 5.2 version of the Blue Ant software will be available at the end of March 2008. For those who are interested in learning more about this new version, Blue Ant will be participating at the CeBIT 2008 from the 4th to the 9th of March, 2008, in Hall 2, booth B50.
